Solar On Grid System
A on-grid solar system uses solar panels, an inverter and other components to turn sunlight into electricity for your use, while your home remains connected to the local utility grid.
The most common reason to install a solar grid tie system is to reduce utility bills.
Once the system is operating, the power it provides is free and there is little or no maintenance required. While it runs, your PV system reduces your electrical bills, not only because it decreases how much power you pull from your utility, but also, any excess power you produce is pushed back into the grid (net metering). At the end of a billing cycle, if the solar grid tie system has generated more power than used, meaning, it has put back more power into the utility grid than used, the utility company will deduct bill amount equivalent to the value of power put back in the next billing cycle.
Advantages for you
-
Reduces your electricity bills by upto 90%
-
After the ROI of maximum 4 years, you have essentially free electricity for the next 30 years
-
Lesser cost of installation as compared to off-grid system as there are lesser equipment required such as batteries, charge controllers.
-
Since there are no batteries, the recurring cost of replacing the batteries every 5 years is eliminated
-
System requires minimum maintenance.
Advantages for the environment
-
Reduction in Greenhouse Gas Emissions
-
Just 1kW of solar can reduce upto 31 Tons of CO2 in 35 years
-
Decreased Air Pollution
-
Conservation of Natural Resources
Solar Water Heater
Solar water heating (SWH) is the conversion of sunlight into heat for heating water using a solar thermal collector. A sun-facing collector heats the working fluid that passes into a storage system for latter use. SWH systems are active (pumped) and passive (convection-driven). Solar water heater are available in two variants, Flat Plate Collectors and Evacuated Tube System. These are available depending on the site’s requirements.
-
Very low investment
-
Zero maintenance cost
-
Removes the use of conventional electric & gas operated geysers
Advantages
-
Can reduce your electricity bill by 100%
-
Can be installed where there is no grid connectivity
-
No paperwork and permissions required
-
Removes the need of additional backup system such as generator or additional batteries and inverter
Advantages
Solar Off grid system
A solar off grid system is a complete independent system consisting of solar panels, batteries and inverter to power your electrical appliances. Unlike an ongrid system, the off grid system is not connected to the grid.
